This Own't Your Father'due south Tele
You can rock out on a Tele — Jimmy Page proved that. But the Fender Special Edition Custom Telecaster FMT HH takes it to a whole new dimension. A mahogany trunk topped with eye-popping flame maple delivers a muscular-sounding resonant seize with teeth. A pair of high-octane Seymour Duncan humbuckers infuses this Custom Tele with enough vintage-inspired output to thrust your amp into overdrive. Information technology pulls off single-coil tones too, courtesy of a push-pull coil tap. And this electrical guitar's set Indian laurel-capped mahogany neck is congenital for sustain, speed, and playability. If you're searching for a Tele with a mean streak, you've come to the right place. The Custom Telecaster FMT HH is the right guitar for you.
Flame maple on mahogany — a classic tonewood recipe
Despite its familiar body shape, the Special Edition Custom Telecaster FMT HH isn't your typical Tele. It all starts with a mahogany torso. This resonant wood has smashing musical properties, delivering warmth and sustain by the truckload. An center-catching flame maple top infuses an already superb tone with a healthy bite, while further enhancing the guitar's sustain. Fashionable cream binding completes the look of this exquisite instrument.
Dual humbuckers for fire-animate rock tones
Thanks to its dual Seymour Duncan humbuckers, the Custom Telecaster FMT HH is a fire-animate creature. A warm '59 neck pickup evokes a 1950s PAF-manner humbucker. This vintage re-creation serves up slightly scooped mids and is vacuum wax potted for bleat-free performance. The Pearly Gates bridge pickup smolders with a sweet yet slightly rude sound that will inject your amp with loads of sustain and harmonics. This Custom Tele features three-way pickup switching and a push-pull coil tap for achieving spanky unmarried-coil tones.
Set neck yields countless sustain and playability
The Custom Telecaster FMT HH eschews the Tele's usual bolt-on maple neck for a glued-in mahogany version. The warmth and resonance of the mahogany meld beautifully with the set neck'south heightened sustain, resulting in a killer tone that takes no prisoners. Beyond that, this neck's Modernistic "C" shape fills your hand perfectly, and its Indian laurel fingerboard was congenital for speed.

What is a Sales Engineer?
I love this Telecaster! As e'er, Sweetwater client service is top-notch, and my sales engineer Shaka Dhladhla is bang-up and ever gives me slap-up client service! My guitar arrived in great shape and double boxed.
FF a couple of months of enquiry and based upon never really playing but figuring out what I wanted, and of grade the reviews, settled on this instrument.
Enter your consultant Matthew Klopfenstein. He verified what I thought I knew and helped me selection a great starter amp to become going. The Fender LT50 is incredible for the money and and then much fun right out of the box. Go lookout vids on this and modeling amps. For just starting out you can't become wrong I think.
With Sweetwater, you get set up with text right to your consultant ( ask for Matt ;) )so odds and ends are bachelor a text abroad (picks - a pedal for the amp and a case then far - once I saw this guitar I knew information technology had to be in a case most of the fourth dimension).
The guitar arrived and I had high expectations based upon the reviews, but honestly, this is the most beautiful musical instrument I've e'er seen, and I've been around probably hundreds of high-cease guitars in bands along the way.
If y'all're thinking of learning, now is the all-time time ever. Fender has FenderPlay which has online lessons that are complimentary to start and super-affordable for a year. Now'southward the time as at that place'south a Xmas discount! The amp has a built-in tuner that's easy to use. There are tons of other youtube vids and apps and wyzant.com has tutors that tin can exercise online lessons. It was never similar this the last time I tried to learn. Get for it!
Thinking of taking up guitar and willing to invest in it? Reach out to Matt and take a serious expect at this guitar!
The fit and terminate is excellent, the calorie-free weight (six and a one-half pounds) is a delight, and the tones (both humbucking and single-coil) are unique and pleasing. Not exactly like any one other guitar I can proper name, which is value-added in my book.
And by that, I mean the guitar doesn't sound similar a Les Paul, nor does it exactly offer up 'archetype' Telecaster or Stratocaster tones.
Merely tones unique to this model, I guess. And those tones are crawly.
I practice similar the red one, a lot.
It was literally down to a coin-toss between the red and amber.
And the lightest-weight of all those available won out in the cease.
This old back of mine says, "thank you" every time I go for calorie-free-weight gear.
I love it.
She's a keeper!!
This is my second guitar purchase from Sweetwater and as usual everything was perfect! Thank you Jake Barker and all the great Sweetwater Staff!
